It's the wording on a coupon that matters, NOT the picture.
Make sure you actually read the wording on a coupon. Don't trust the picture. For example, just because a full-size bottle of laundry detergent is pictured does NOT mean that you cannot use the coupon on another size. If the coupon's wording does specify a particular size or exclude trial size, you can use it on any size.
I've had many cashiers tell me that I can't use a coupon because I didn't buy the exact item pictured. This is not true. Ask to speak to a manager if you have problems.
